"For me, the Stoller Pinot Noirs stand out in two ways:

the bright red fruit I love in Dundee Hills Pinot Noir; and precision and finesse. The fruit shows brilliant acidity and redness. There's a beautiful transparency in the flavor profile; this does not imply simplicity, as it is anything but that. The subtle underlayers of forest floor and a slight brambliness ride along with the bright, tart cherry and currant fruits. Much of what brings the precision to the palate is the acid structure. As the vineyard has matured, I'm seeing much consistency on pH and TA, and I'm seeing flavor and ripeness align on a single day, which makes picking decisions much simpler, as I'm not forced to trade off one or the other."
