Discover the World of Pinot Noir!
9:30 AM to 5:30 PM     Sat, May 6, 2017

Join our Associate Winemaker Kate Payne-Brown and Wine Author Joseph V. Micallef on May 6 for Discover Pinot Noir, an interactive all-day seminar with tasting!

Taste: Sample five flights of six wines (30 wines total) that explore Pinot Noir from around the world, styles of Pinot Noir from still to sparkling, differences in the Willamette Valley's six AVAs, the effects of different winemaking techniques, and a flight of historic Stoller Pinot Noir vintages.
Learn: The origins and history of Pinot Noir, how soils, climate and altitude shape the characteristic terroir of Willamette Valley’s AVAs, how the winemaker decides to craft each vintage, and how Pinot Noir changes as it ages and matures.
Smell: Discover how to identify and deconstruct the primary, secondary and tertiary aroma profiles of Pinot Noir using a unique, custom designed, 24 aroma Pinot Noir kit, which you can take home.
See: The winemaking process up close with a winery tour and time-permitting barrel tasting hosted by our Associate Winemakers Kate Payne-Brown.

For tickets, please click here. Price: $450/person or $750/couple (includes custom designed Pinot Noir aroma kit, catered lunch, guided tasting of 30 wines, lectures, and closing wine social). Space is very limited.

Successful Strategies by Andrea Stolowitz
6:30 PM     Tue, May 16, 2017

Successful Strategies is a brand new comedy by two-time Oregon Book Award winning playwright Andrea Stolowitz. Inspired by the Marivaux farce by the same name, we follow seven characters as they hilariously dismantle their own relationships while attempting to save them. Taking place on a Willamette Valley vineyard just before the grape harvest, the play explores the terroir of love and wine-making  in a uniquely Oregonian way. 110 minutes with intermission. To RSVP, please click here.

Tasting room doors open at 5:30 PM for event.
The Tasting Room is open from 11:00-5:00 if you would like to come early and enjoy the day with us.
